Jacob (pictured on the left) designed this roof rack for a previous truck that featured a tool box, welding gear, etc. That truck went to the great pick up heaven in the sky, but Jacob's friend wanted to repurpose the roof rack for his truck, "Big Red". Jacob redesigned the roof rack to fit this truck. We'll try to find some other pictures to really showcase the design, as this one doesn't really show all the cool design features involved in the rebuild. There is expanded metal that is over the cab of the truck, that you could stand on, as well as 4 built in nuts to hold crossbeam supports that could be fastened together with large bolts, thus allowing "Big Red" to haul a ton cargo on top with adequate support. Jacob also designed the step up handles at the back to make it easier to get into the bed of the truck. The picture of the tractor shows the added sunshade Jacob designed for this vintage Ford tractor. He recently added a wooden top to the sunshade and fitted it with custom lighting, to be able to work the tractor in the dark, or low light..we'll get this pics shortly as well. "I was asked to build a couple hogs traps for a hunting ranch in central Texas. The property had been slammed with Feral hogs over the last few years and the owner needed to start trapping them. As many people may know, feral hogs cause considerable damage to the environment in multiple ways. The owner of the ranch wanted a custom trap that was dependable. I built him two traps based on the specification he requested. He was going to paint them himself, so what you see is just the finished design format of these traps." - Jacob. This is a protein feeder that a land owner hired Jacob to fabricate with some materials that were on site at this southern Texas ranch. This is where Jacob takes things the extra mile. He researched the optimal height of protein feeders, and the clearance areas that would be best for all whitetail deer to be able to eat from this without any bucks damaging their antlers, and one that could be at a height that would allow fawns to feed from it as well. He also designed steps into one side, so that it could easily be climbed to fill the feeder, thus eliminating a need for a ladder system the landowner was using previously. It's that kind of functional design that Jacob brings to his work that get him so much repeat business! For questions on custom designs, fill out a contact entry form today.
Custom Security Doors
Jacob has built a lot of custom security doors and gates. in the one featured below, Jacob added the extra cross looking metal pieces to the vertical bars, and designed it in such a way that when it opened, they would all aligned perfectly (as seen in the second pic). Nice touch, and one that the client was especially pleased with. They even hired Jacob to do 4 more doors in a home 3 hours away. For questions on custom designs, fill out a contact entry form today.
